Colleen Grimes is copy editor for Earth Portals. She graduated from Sonoma State University with a BA in Psychology in 1998. She is currently designing plans for a Healing Arts Retreat Center in Northern California where various holistic therapies, new technology workshops, and creative arts can merge together to generate a synergy of community collaboration to create a model of human beings working together in harmony, where the best qualities in each person is encouraged to shine.
She is currently working on the internet to educate communities about critical social issues, and promote global participation through local solutions. She envisions a world that works for everyone (All 6 Billion and counting...) through natural life-affiriming technologies, group transformation through shamanic ritual and ecstatic trance, and heightened community consciousness .
Her latest project is making all natural candles with Torch Candles using herbs for color. She is in San Anselmo, CA.
